A rat touched him and then he mutated into a humanoid rat while the turtles also mutated into humanoid versions of them selves. Yoshi picked up the turtles and escaped. Yoshi named him after one of his favorite Renaissance artist, Donatello. Throughout a Fifthteen years period, his father trained him to become a ninja to defend him and his family.

• 2018 History: In 2003, Hamato Yoshi A.K.A. Lou Jitzue came out of a pet shop with four baby turtles and bumped into a mysterious man. He then followed him, but Lou was cot. He then fought his way out, until he accidently dropped the baby turtles in a puddle of Ooze. He was then bitten by a Ooze filled mosquito and mutated into a humanoid rat while the turtles also mutated into humanoid versions of them selves. Lou picked up the turtles and escaped. Lou named him after one of his favorite Renaissance artist, Donatello, but most of the time calls him Purple. Throughout a Fifthteen years period, his father kind of trained him to become a ninja to defend him and his family.

• 2023 History: In 2008, When Baxter Stockman's lab was infiltrated by TCRI agents, it exploded by accident. An Ooze canister fell in a sewer and went all over four baby turtles and a nearby rat. It mutated them into four humanoid baby turtles and one humanoid rat that the later named Splinter. He named him after one of his favorite Renaissance artist, Donatello.
